This morning I kind of slept in but that isn't the exciting part.... I get to hang out with Nicole today at the Garden of the Gods. We are packing a lunch and then go hiking and whatever. Bill and Stacy are coming along but I told them if they want to adventure alone, that's fine but they are welcomed to hang out with us. I am calling her around 9 and breakfast should be almost done by then as well. We are having pancakes with sausage! YUM! I think dinner tonight will be leftovers. We have a bunch of it.
As for a comparison between the two KOA's, the one in Ouray is less noisy. Yeah I am not a big fan of children at all but this KOA is right off the highway. I mean, there's a wall and there's the highway! I think we are definitely not coming back to this KOA. Typically we don't do KOA but last minute planning and that's what you get.
Tomorrow we are doing Pike's peak in the morning and the Longs are doing a prime in the oil less fryer. YUM! Cannot wait for that! We are leaving on Wednesday but (like I said in my last post) we may stop. No idea what is in store for us!
Anyway, I am going to finish my coffee, feed Zeke (yes, he's going to the garden with us), and listen to the cars whizzing by.
